Sabalauski Air Assault School Phase 1 Practice Test

Soldiers are expected to carry and manage their individual gear in a properly secured and balanced manner to promote efficiency during a ruck march. Properly securing gear helps prevent items from shifting around, which can lead to discomfort, increased fatigue, or even injuries. Additionally, a well-balanced load ensures that the weight is evenly distributed, which is crucial for maintaining stability and mobility over long distances.

When gear is organized and balanced, soldiers can move more effectively, conserve energy, and maintain their endurance throughout the march. This organizational strategy also allows for quicker adjustments to gear as needed and facilitates easier access to essential items, without compromising safety or performance. Proper management of gear reflects a soldier's training and readiness for the physical demands placed on them during field operations.
